Rangers starlet tracked by Ferguson
12:00 PM 11 January, 2010
Mark Wilson is a target for Manchester United Football Club, claim reports.

Sir Alex Ferguson knows he will soon have to replace the bulk of his defence, possibly including Nemanja Vidic who looks almost certain to leave in the summer.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are keen on the Serbian international centre-half, who has struggled for form and fitness this season and the latter stages of last term.

The Daily Star Sunday claim the Reds manager is keen on Rangers youngster Wilson, who has only made a handful of appearances since making his debut last October.

It is understood the 18-year-old has been watched by Old Trafford scouts, who have given Ferguson a glowing reference which could lead to a bid in the summer.

What the hell is the point of all that money spent on a training facility for bringing through youth team players when they refuse to sign contracts and then leave as soon as they can. Good move Mr Murray, I suppose we may as well get used to watching 2nd rate players who can't get signed elsewhere. Maybe we could offer free hip replacements and then some more pensioners may come our way to retire.
