Lampard reveals his Chelsea priority
Frank Lampard would love to win the Premier League with Chelsea Football Club this season.
The Blues were crowned champions in 2005 and 2006, but since Jose Mourinho left the club, Manchester United have won each of the last three titles.
Whilst the UEFA Champions League remains a target for the Londoners, Lampard has revealed that his priority remains wrestling the domestic crown from Old Trafford.
“The Champions League is definitely something I want to win but, for me, the league is where we need to get to the consistency levels we had a few years ago," he told the Daily Star Sunday.
“There's a feeling among the players that we want to go one step further and get consistency back in the league and then push on for the Champions League. It's a lovely feeling to be the best team in your country - and I want to get that back."
Chelsea are currently one point ahead of United in the title race, and they also have a game in hand having seen their home fixture with Hull City postponed on Saturday.
