Hugo Rodallega is the latest name being linked with Birmingham City Football Club.
It has been well documented that Alex McLeish has around £40million to spend on his Blues squad this month, and a striker is high on his agenda.
A bid for Ryan Babel has already been rejected by Liverpool, whilst German international Kevin Kuranyi looks set to see out his contract at Schalke.
Reports now suggest McLeish has set his sights on Wigan Athletic’s Colombian striker Rodallega, 24, who would likely cost a fee in the region of £10million.
This is the second time the St Andrews club have been linked with a Latics player, having earlier this month been said to be lining up an offer for Charles N’Zogbia.
