Portsmouth slap £14million price tag on Kaboul
12:30 PM 12 January, 2010
Portsmouth Football Club want £14million to consider selling Younes Kaboul.

The Premier League’s bottom club paid around £7million to take the former France Under-21 international from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2008.

Kaboul is one of the key players for Pompey as they look to avoid relegation this season, and they have slapped a price tag of £14million on his head in the hope of putting bidders off.

Manchester City and Sunderland are big fans of the 24-year-old, yet they may both prefer to wait until the summer to make their moves for the defender.

The Fratton Park club may be struggling both on and off the pitch at the moment, but their stance on Kaboul proves they are not willing to be pushed around this month.
