Arsenal Football Club have been linked with a swoop for Louis Saha.
Since leaving Manchester United after an injury-plagues spell at Old Trafford the French striker has rediscovered his form at North West rivals Everton.
Saha, though, is out of contract at the end of the season, and the Daily Mail claim the Toffees are stalling over meeting his wage demands of £60,000-per-week.
This could open the door to a summer move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsene Wenger doesn’t normally offer players over 30-years-old more than one-year contract, but there is speculation the 31-year-old could prove the exception to this rule.
