A number of Premier League clubs are hot for Sergio Canales.

The 18-year-old has only made thirteen league appearances for Racing Santander in two years, but he has recently caught the eye with four goals in his last three starts.

Included in this tally is both goals in the 2-1 win over Sevilla earlier this year, and this reportedly alerted interest from top-flight Premier League clubs.

Reports in Spain claim Chelsea and Manchester United are amongst the admirers of Canales, who is a current Under-19 international.

However, Racing have ruled out the possibility of losing the midfielder this month, although they are said to be bracing themselves for bids in the summer.
