Valon Behrami is expected to remain at West Ham United Football Club.

The Swiss international has been a key player for the Hammers since his move from Lazio in July 2008, but he has been linked with a return to Italy.

However, his agent has rubbished the speculation of a move to his former club or Roma, by insisting no club in Europe, aside from Manchester City, could afford him.

"A return to Italy for Behrami is a rumour," Alessandro Beltrami told Itasport. "His price tag is high - only a few teams can afford to spend €15million in January.

"I don't think that, at this time, either Roma or Lazio have this economic possibility. Only one other team in the Premier League could spend so much in this market."
