Amr Zaki will have a medical with an unnamed Premier League club on Saturday.

The Egypt international made a huge impression during a loan stint with Wigan Athletic last season, before finally fizzing out in the second half of the campaign.

He returned to Zamalek this season but has constantly been linked with a return to England, and this looks like being realised during the winter window.

A statement on Zaki’s official website has revealed he will have a medical with an unnamed Premier League side on Saturday, ahead of a loan move for the rest of the season.

Could his former Latics manager Steve Bruce want him at Sunderland? Or is Sam Allardyce looking to add him to his Blackburn Rovers squad, or maybe Bolton wanderers want him?
