Hull City not optimistic over Weiss chances
Hull City Football Club aren’t optimistic on their chances of signing Vladimir Weiss.
The Slovakian international is struggling to force his way into Manchester City’s star-studded side at the moment, and Roberto Mancini would consider letting him leave on loan.
Phil Brown admits he would love the youngster at the KC Stadium, but he isn’t overly optimistic that a deal will be done during the winter transfer window.
"There's two or three players we've made enquiries over, one being Vladimir Weiss at Man City on a loan deal,” the Tigers boss told the Hull Daily Mail.
"He's not playing regular football so it was an opportunity for both clubs but it seems to have gone dead for the moment. He would certainly interest us, the lad has got pace, so we'll wait and see."
