Steven Fletcher should be back in action for Burnley Football Club at the weekend.
The Scottish international picked up an ankle injury in the first half of the 3-0 defeat at Manchester United on Saturday, sparking fears he faced a spell on the sidelines.
However, x-rays have revealed no serious damage, and manager Brian Laws is sure Fletcher will be back in action to take on Reading in the FA Cup this weekend.
"The X-rays have not shown any real concerns and although it can take 48 hours for things to settle down, we are confident he should be available for the weekend,” he told the official club site.
