Marouane Fellaini has shrugged off speculation linking him with Chelsea Football Club.

The rumours that the Londoners are keen on the Everton star started, oddly enough, by his own father, and have resulted in a rather embarrassed reaction from the midfielder.

“I am perfectly happy where I am," Fellaini said in The Guardian. "Of course big clubs are always -looking at players, but I think talk of Chelsea’s interest was blown up a bit.

“Everything was taken out of context really because I am happy at Everton. Last season we were in the FA Cup final, and this time we're still in that competition as well as the Europa League.”

Fellaini, a £15million signing from Standard Liege in the summer of 2008, has been in splendid form of late, leading to David Moyes labelling him as the best in his position in England of late.
