Villarreal have certainly set their sights high as they look for Marcos Senna’s successor.

El Submarino Amarillo know the Senna, who has started thirteen times this season, can’t last forever, and reports in Cadena SER claim they are already on the lookout for a replacement.

In what many would see as an unlikely option, it is being suggested that the Spaniards have made Daniele De Rossi, the Italian international, a top target.

The 26-year-old, who has been with Roma all his career, is regarded as one of the best midfielders in European football, and his price tag would surely be too high for Villarreal.
