Real Madrid to resist all Gago offers
Fernando Gago’s agent claims the midfielder is unlikely to be sold this month.
The 23-year-old Argentine international is struggling to nail down a regular place at the Bernabeu this season, having started just three times in La Liga.
Gago fears this could cost him a place in Diego Maradona’s World Cup squad for South Africa, and would therefore consider a move during the window.
Italian giants Juventus are the latest club to be linked with the midfield player, but his agent, Zoran Vekic, has told Tuttosport a move this month is unlikely.
“The player is happy in Madrid, but is obviously honoured by a proposal like this,” he said. “However, Real do not want to sell Gago, as it’s difficult to find 23-year-olds with this talent around.”
