Kaboul linked with €10million Portsmouth exit
Younes Kaboul could be leaving Portsmouth Football Club before the end of the month.
The former France Under-21 international captain will be key to Pompey’s survival bid this season, but their financial situation means they could be forced to cash in on him.
Avram Grant publicly insists he will keep his squad together, but reports in La Parisien claim Lille are about to offer a tempting €10million to take Kaboul, formerly of Auxerre, back to France.
This would not only be a blow to the Fratton Park club, but also to Manchester City and Sunderland, both of whom have been linked with the 24-year-old in recent weeks.
Lille are currently a team on the up in France and currently sit second in Ligue 1, seven points behind Bordeaux, sparking excitement of a first league championship since 1954.
