Birmingham City Football Club are eager to sign Milan Jovanovic in the summer.

The 28-year-old Serbian international striker is out of contract at Standard Liege at the end of the season, when he will be available on a Bosman free transfer.

AC Milan and Liverpool are strongly being linked with the player, and now the Daily Mail claim Alex McLeish’s ambitious Blues side are set to enter the race.

Jovanovic has been in excellent form in the Belgian league this season, with ten goals in sixteen appearances making him one of the more attractive free transfers of the coming summer.
