John Utaka is a target for Celtic Football Club.

The Nigerian international joined Portsmouth in the summer of 2007, when Harry Redknapp snapped him up for £7million from French club Rennes.

Utaka is one of the highest earners at Fratton Park, and for that reason, the Premier League strugglers would be happy to offload him this month.

The Daily Mail claim Scottish giants Celtic have shown an interest in the powerful forward, and could offer a bid in the region of £2.5million for his signature.
