Fulham to renew long-standing Cousin interest
04:30 PM 20 January, 2010
Fulham Football Club will again try for Daniel Cousin this month.

The Gabon international, currently in Angola at the African Cup of Nations, has made just three appearances in the Premier League for Hull City this season.

The 32-year-old has been admired by the Cottagers for some time, and they would have taken him from Rangers in January 2008 had he not also appeared for Lens in the same season.

Fifa rules prevent players from playing for three sides in the same campaign, so he remained at Ibrox until clinching a transfer to Phil Brown’s side.

Now, though, it looks as though Roy Hodgson is set to make a fresh bid for Cousin, having seen a loan deal for Roma’s Stefano Okaka collapse this week.
