Allardyce targets £2million Everton youngster
06:00 PM 20 January, 2010
James Vaughan is a target for Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

The England Under-21 international has suffered a number of injury setbacks during his fledgling career, and has only recently battled back from his latest knock.

Vaughan had a loan spell at Derby County cut short earlier this season, and Rams boss Nigel Clough is interested in taking him back to Pride Park this month.

However, the Everton youngster could be offered the chance to resurrect his top-flight career at Ewood Park, with the Sun saying Sam Allardyce is plotting a £2million bid.
