Steven Gerrard insists he has no plans to leave Liverpool Football Club.

A disastrous season for the Reds will result in yet another campaign without a Premier League title triumph, and this has led to suggestions Gerrard may decide to leave his beloved Anfield.

However, the 29-year-old has hit back at such suggestions, insisting he has no plans to call time on his long association with the Merseyside outfit.

"All the stories about me leaving are unfounded. The fans can be assured that I am doing all I can to get back to top form and help Liverpool finish the season on a high,” he said.
