Tony Pulis insists Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club have not bid for James Beattie.
It has been reported that the Molineux club have tabled an offer of £3million for the Stoke City striker, but Pulis insists he has not heard from Mick McCarthy or Jez Moxey.
“I would expect Mick to ring me if they were interested and he hasn't," he told The Sentinel. "Jez also has good contacts here at Stoke and I am not aware of anything happening with him.”
Beattie has been tipped to leave the Britannia Stadium this month, just a year after arriving from Sheffield United, due to a lack of form and a bust-up with Pulis last month.
