Galatasaray have signed Jo on loan for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old Brazilian joined Manchester City in the summer of 2008 in an £18million deal, but he failed to settle at Eastlands and spend the second half of last season at Everton.

This loan was extended until the end of this campaign, but Jo has struggled for form and has also had a run-in with David Moyes last month, and will now see out the next six months in Istanbul.

"Brazilian striker Jo has left Everton and returned to Manchester City," read a statement on Everton's official website. "Jo was then immediately loaned by City to Galatasaray.”
