Brown puts his faith in Zaki to save Hull City
10:47 AM 23 January, 2010
Phil Brown is sure Amr Zaki will score goals for Hull City Football Club.

The Egyptian international scored ten times for Wigan Athletic during a loan spell last season, before returning to Zamalek for the start of this campaign.

Zaki will now spend the remainder of this campaign at the KC Stadium, and Brown is sure the 26-year-old will prove a shrewd acquisition once he has fully recovered from a hamstring injury.

“The lad seems determined to put right the wrongs that have been said about him," Brown told The Hull Daily Mail. "He seems like a man on a mission.

“You get the impression that he wants to prove a point to people. If that manifests itself in him scoring goals to keep Hull City in the Premier League, then I'll be a happy man.

"We saw what we could do in a short space of time with Wigan Athletic, and if he can get himself in peak condition, we believe he'll score goals."
