Daniel de Ridder has completed a loan move to Hapoel Tel Aviv.

The Dutchman failed to break into the Wigan Athletic squad under new manager Roberto Martinez, who has not selected him since taking over at the Premier League club.

De Ridder, who has dual nationality as his mother is Israeli, has now clinched a six-month loan deal with Hapoel, who finished second in the Premier League last season.

This will be the fifth club the 25-year-old has played for, having also appeared for Ajax, Celta Vigo and Birmingham City before his move to the Latics.
