Wolverhampton Wanderers turn to Roberts
10:00 AM 25 January, 2010
Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club are keen on Jason Roberts.

The 32-year-old has started just nine Premier League games for Blackburn Rovers this season, and has been linked with a return to Wigan Athletic.

However, it is now being suggested that Wolverhampton are also keen on Roberts, as they look to add to their striking options for the business end of the season.

Mick McCarthy had previously been linked with James Beattie, but having failed to land the Stoke City man, his attention has now turned to Ewood Park.

Roberts has been unavailable for the last three matches due to a knee injury, but he is now back in full training with Sam Allardyce’s first team squad.
