McCarthy set for West Ham United
09:30 AM 25 January, 2010
Benni McCarthy has reportedly agreed terms with West Ham United Football Club.

The Londoners are desperate to sign at least one striker during the January transfer window, as they look to add the firepower to shoot them to Premier League survival.

An ambitious attempt to take Ruud van Nistelrooy has failed after the Dutch ace chose Hamburg, and the Sunday Times now claim they are closing on McCarthy.

The 32-year-old South African is struggling for regular football at Blackburn Rovers, and it is believed he has agreed terms with the Upton Park club, who will pay around £2.5million for his signature.

Me too, Mr Bond. Nedum Onouha from Man City would be a decent right back too. Although I think Faubert's been quite good this season.
