Birmingham City Football Club have been linked with Aruna Dindane.

The 29-year-old Ivory Coast international is on a season-long loan deal at Portsmouth, but Lens have threatened to take him back now due to the Fratton Park club’s financial problems.

It is believed the French side would then look to offload him before the transfer deadline, and The Times claim Alex McLeish could move to take him to St Andrews.

The Blues boss has around £30million to spend this month, but Dindane has scored just four times in the Premier League this season, and fans may well be expecting something more.
