Eidur Gudjohnsen will see the season out at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

The former Bolton Wanderers and Chelsea forward has struggled for form since leaving Barcelona for Monaco in the summer, and has since been linked with a return to England.

It looked as though West Ham United would seal his signature after he had a medical with the Upton Park club, but it now seems Spurs have stolen in ahead of their London rivals.

Sky Sports claim Gudjohnsen has signed a deal which will keep him at White Hart Lane for the rest of the season, as Harry Redknapp’s side look for a top-four finish.
