Robinho still in Manchester City plans
Robinho remains part of Roberto Mancini’s plans at Manchester City Football Club.
The Brazilian playmaker was left out of the Carling Cup semi-final second leg at rivals United, as he looks set to return to his homeland with Santos.
However, Mancini has revealed that the deal is by no means certain, and should the player remain at Eastlands, he will be used in the remainder of the season.
"Robinho spoke with me," said the Italian. "It is possible that he will go to play for Santos or another team, so we preferred not to risk him. But that is the only reason he was not involved.
“If he is still here at the end of the transfer window, he can play for us."
