West Ham United eye White Hart Lane duo
02:00 PM 28 January, 2010
West Ham United Football Club are keen on David Bentley and Alan Hutton.

Although Bentley impressed during a rare start for Tottenham Hotspur in their 2-0 win against Fulham in midweek, he has cut a frustrated figure at White Hart Lane this season.

Harry Redknapp is likely to consider any offers for the former Blackburn Rovers star, and reports on Sky Sports claim the Hammers are set to make their move.

It is also believed that Scottish fullback Hutton, who too has struggled to nail down a place in the Spurs side, is also a target for Gianfranco Zola’s Upton Park side.

I doubt Harry Bapflaps would deal with hammers unless they do a deal for Cole or Upson, neither of whom will be going anywhere, so as much as Hutton and Bentley may benefit the hammers, Bentley at least can remain on the bench at spuds teaching Pav some English. 25mil plus wages of purchased proven talent that watch the likes of keane from the bench. An expensive laugh but funny just the same.
