Manchester City face Johnson disappointment
03:30 PM 28 January, 2010
Middlesbrough Football Club are refusing to sell Adam Johnson.

Manchester City have reportedly made an offer for the 22-year-old winger, as they look to make a final push for FA Cup success and a top-four Premier League finish.

But although Johnson is out of contract at the end of the season, Boro manager Gordon Strachan is refusing to offload the former England Under-21 international.

“We have had verbal offers in the last week for Adam, but nothing has changed," said Strachan. "Adam is still here and I would expect him still to be here for the last 19 games of the season.”
