Manchester City send Robinho packing
Robinho has ended his nightmare spell at Manchester City Football Club.
Although he has shown glimpses of his brilliance during his eighteen-month stay in England, the Brazilian has largely disappointed since his £32.5million move from Real Madrid.
A return to his former club Santos has been touted since the winter window opened, and it has now been confirmed that he will see the season out in his homeland.
"Robinho is someone who needs to be playing regularly and we wish him well for the period of his loan,” City coach Roberto Mancini told the official club site.
