Stoke City Football Club have entered the race for Asmir Begovic.

The 22-year-old has been targeted by Harry Redknapp this month, as the Tottenham Hotspur manager looks to bolster his goalkeeper options ahead of the deadline.

As much as Portsmouth would love to keep Begovic, their financial situation means they are likely to consider offers for their players whilst the window is open.

And according to Sky Sports, Stoke are also poised to make a move for their goalkeeper, having already failed to lure David James from Fratton Park this month.
