Ray Wilkins has praised the attitude of Chelsea Football Club’s John Terry.
The England and Blues skipper has been in the press since Friday when it was claimed he had been having an affair with the girlfriend of former team-mate and international pal Wayne Bridge.
Despite this, Terry played at Burnley on Saturday when he scored the winning goal, and he has earned the praise of Carlo Ancelotti’s assistant.
“We've got on with what we do. We prepared in the best possible fashion and it was important we focused on the game,” said Wilkins following the 2-1 win at Turf Moor.
"JT has got his football head on. He's a fantastic professional. There is a wonderful togetherness among the guys and we don't need a siege mentality."
