Hull City confident of Hunt stay
10:07 AM 01 February, 2010
Phil Brown is confident Stephen Hunt will stay at Hull City Football Club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have failed with three bids for the midfielder, who only joined the KC Stadium club from Reading in the summer window.

It is believed Mick McCarthy will make one final bid for the player on deadline day, but Brown is confident the 29-year-old will remain part of his squad.

"The chairman has just had a word with me and I am very confident Stephen Hunt will still be a Hull player,” he said. "If we sold him these fans would go crazy and it is certainly not on my agenda."
