Gabriel Obertan still has a future at Manchester United Football Club.

The young French winger was a surprise £3million signing for the Reds in the summer, when they took a chance on a player who had lost his way at Bordeaux.

Having overcome his injury problems Obertan has shown lots of promise when called upon this season, but he has not featured since the shock FA Cup defeat to Leeds United last month.

This has led to speculation that the 20-year-old is on borrowed time already, but his agent, Karim Djaziri, has told L’Equipe: "He's staying at Manchester United.”

Obertan has been linked with a summer move to Turkish side Fenerbahce, but it would be a surprise if Ferguson offloaded him so soon after arriving in Manchester.
