Manchester United block Anderson exit
Manchester United Football Club rejected a deadline-day bid for Anderson.
The Brazilian international has cut a controversial figure at Old Trafford in recent weeks, having gone AWOL after being left out of the squad to face Hull City last month.
This has cast long-term doubts over his place in Sir Alex Ferguson’s squad, and reports suggest French outfit Paris St Germain failed with a bid to take him on loan on Monday.
The Daily Mail indicate United were prepared to let Anderson see out the rest of the season in Ligue 1, but PSG’s refusal to pay all of his salary scuppered the move.
