Younes Kaboul believes he returns to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club as a better player.
The French defender made 21 Premier League appearances for Spurs during the 2007/08 season, before Harry Redknapp signed him for Portsmouth in a £6million deal.
Kaboul went on to make a further 39 appearances in the blue of Pompey, before this week Redknapp signed him again, this time taking back to White Hart Lane.
"I'm glad to be back at Spurs," the defender told the official club website. "I had a good time at Portsmouth and now I'm very happy to be back. I learned a lot at Portsmouth.
“I learned all about the Premier League because I played every game. I learned every day in training and on the pitch. I have a little more experience and now I have to do the same here at Spurs."
Kaboul, 24, was cup-tied for Spurs FA Cup clash at Leeds United on Wednesday evening, so his second debut is likely to come on Saturday in the crucial Premier League clash with Aston Villa.
