Harry Redknapp believes Younes Kaboul can feature for France in the World Cup Finals.

The Tottenham Hotspur manager took the defender from White Hart Lane when he was manager at Portsmouth, and he swooped to take him back to the Londoners at the weekend.

Kaboul, a former Les Bleus Under-21 captain, has yet to be capped at full international level, but Redknapp sees no reason why he can’t force his way into Raymond Domenech’s plans.

"He has everything to be a top player - pace, great in the air, strong. He has got a great chance of going to the World Cup with France. I think he has got a big future here,” he said.
