Nemanja Vidic’s agent has dismissed speculation linking the defender with AC Milan.

It is widely believed that Vidic will leave Manchester United at the end of the season, but his Italian agent has played down speculation that the San Siro club are closing on his signature.

Indeed, Silvano Martina has even rubbished claims the Serbian international is sure to leave Old Trafford, insisting nothing has been decided.

"When a player is with a big club it is difficult to change, and then these rumours come out just a few days after the close of the transfer market,” Silvano Martina told calciomercato.com.

“A contradiction, don't you think? There was nothing and I think that there won't be even in the future. It is a useless thing that, just because a player is injured we are talking of a possible sale."
