Sunderland ready to ditch £20million trio
02:30 PM 09 February, 2010
Steve Bruce is ready to offload three of his big Sunderland Football Club stars in the summer.

After a bright start to the 2009/10 season which had fans talking of a push for Europe, the Black Cats have lost their way in sensational style and are just four points above the relegation zone.

Reports suggest Bruce will get tough with his first team squad should they avoid the drop, and is willing to offload three of his big stars in a bid to raise funds.

The biggest name of all who could be shown the door is Kenwyne Jones, who has in the past been linked with Birmingham City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs have also been linked with the other two players Bruce is said to be willing to listen to offers for, according to the News of the World, namely Anton Ferdinand and Kieran Richardson.
