Walcott: Arsenal can still win the league
09:00 PM 09 February, 2010
Theo Walcott insists Arsenal Football Club can still win the Premier League title.

A 2-0 defeat at Chelsea leaves the Gunners nine points adrift of the Stamford Bridge club, but Walcott is refusing to concede defeat in the title race.

"We have to believe we are always in the title race, no matter where we are in the league," he told the official club website. "Now we just have to get the result against Liverpool.

"Every Premier League game is hard, but we just need to concentrate on ourselves. If we perform like we did at Chelsea, but take our chances, then we can beat anyone on our day."

Arsenal take on Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.

If the Arsenal play like we did against Man-U we will loose. Against Chelsea we was better but still not good enough. Arsenal must improve for rest of the season to stand a chance staying in the top 4. If we finish outside of the top 4 we are F**ked.

Somebody needs to show replays of matches against Manu and Chelsea to the entire Arsenal team and Arsene Wenger - they are living in a non-existant dream world if they still have any hopes of winning the title. The best that this team is capeable of is finishing in the top 6 - will have to be lucky with Liverpool, Spurs, Aston Villa and Man City all chasing
