Shabani Nonda is set to join Portsmouth Football Club.

The former Blackburn Rovers forward is available on a free transfer, having been released from his contract with Turkish giants Galatasaray last month.

Avram Grant is still on the lookout to boost his squad despite the closure of the transfer window, and as Nonda is a free agent, he could be snapped up.

The Daily Mail claim the Pompey manager is set to offer the 32-year-old a contract for the rest of the season, as they look to inject more options into their attack.
