Mario Balotelli is the first name on Manchester City Football Club’s summer shopping list.

Roberto Mancini inherited a hugely talented squad when he replaced Mark Hughes as manager at Eastlands, but he still wants to shake up his pool in the summer.

And top of the Italian coach’s list appears to be Balotelli, the young striker who he handed a debut to during his successful stint in charge of Internazionale.

“I would bring Mario here because he is young and has potential to be world class,” said Mancini. “He can resolve claims and I never had a problem with him.”

Balotelli, 19-years-old, had a strong relationship with the City boss at the San Siro, but less so under Jose Mourinho who is expected to offload him in the summer.
