Real Madrid are determined to keep hold of Gonzalo Higuain.

It has been reported in Italy that Juventus are plotting a whopping summer bid for the Argentine international, who is set to figure in his first World Cup Finals this summer.

After a slow start to the 2009/10 season Higuain has hit top form in recent weeks, and looks like he could be one of Real’s key men in their pursuit of La Liga and UEFA Champions League glory.

Los Blancos are said to be wary of the Bianconeri’s interest in the 22-year-old, and they will try to end all speculation by tying the player to a deal which keeps him at the Bernabeu until 2016.
