Manchester United boss reveals Milner admiration
02:00 PM 12 February, 2010
Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed his admiration for Aston Villa Football Club’s James Milner.

The former Leeds United and Newcastle United ace has been switched to the centre of Martin O’Neill’s midfield this season, and he now looks a certainty for England’s World Cup squad.

Milner produced another impressive performance on Wednesday night as Villa held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw, and Ferguson was gushing with praise for the 24-year-old.

“Milner’s switch to the centre has galvanised the centre of midfield,” said the Old Trafford boss.” I think has done really well there, he has been a revelation this season.

“He has done really, really well. He’s always been a player with good endurance. He can run all day and he is a strong lad. He can play both the central roles and in both the wide positions.”

I reckon that it will be tough for Utd, mainly because of Milner's threat. They haven't won against Villa this season and last season they were given a fright, only die to the Macheda goal did they win. As I said, it will be tough, but I get the feeling that they will have the edge over Villa in this one.
