Gerrard issues Manchester City warning
Steven Gerrard insists he and his Liverpool Football Club pals are well up for their trip to Eastlands.
A 1-0 loss at Arsenal on Wednesday night means the Reds are now level with Manchester City in the race for fourth place, but crucially, the Blues have two games in hand.
The two sides will meet in a crunch Premier League fixture in Manchester next weekend, and Gerrard is convinced he and his team-mates are already revved up for the game.
“We have a very big game coming up against Manchester City,” he said. "But if we play like we did at Arsenal, then I fancy us to beat them. I feel if we are on our game, we are a match for anyone."
