Manchester United Football Club are being tipped to enter the hunt for Joe Cole.

The midfielder is out of contract at Chelsea in the summer, and so far the two parties have failed to reach an agreement to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.

A number of clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, would love to take the 28-year-old, who has made just nine Premier League starts this season.

However, the Sunday Mirror claim United are also keeping tabs on Cole’s situation, and it is well known that Sir Alex Ferguson has been an admirer since the player was at West Ham United.
