Arsenal relieve goal pressure on Eduardo
Arsene Wenger has attempted to relieve the goal scoring pressure on Eduardo.
The Croatian international striker has been hindered by a succession of niggling injuries since overcoming a serious leg break, and he has yet to find his best form.
A return of just four Premier League goals in eighteen appearances this season is far from convincing, but Wenger has told the 28-year-old to continue plugging away.
"Eduardo has shown signs in training that he is getting sharper again," he said. "It takes a long time to recover when you have been injured as he was, but he is getting stronger and stronger.
"It is not a worry that he does not score - I told him that, once you start to make assists, it is the same as scoring and that, for me, there is no difference.”
