McDonald can be key player for Burnley
Brian Laws believes Kevin McDonald can become a key player for Burnley Football Club.
The 21-year-old Scottish midfielder has started eleven of the last thirteen games for the Clarets, and Laws believes he can become a key player in the bid to avoid relegation.
"Kevin's a good player, he's just got to believe in himself a little bit more," he told the Burnley Express. "He lacks a little confidence sometimes in his own ability, he's a bit negative on himself.
"But he's a good player, he's got stature, strength, good ability on the ball, and I know he can get a goal as well, so I'm looking for him to chip in.
"I think the Premier League suits him, and it's a great opportunity for him. How good he becomes is down to him, he's still very young, which is another element he's got on his side."
