Ronaldo hints at Manchester United return
09:00 PM 14 February, 2010
Cristiano Ronaldo admits he could return to Manchester United Football Club in the future.

During his six seasons at Old Trafford the Portugal international established himself as the best player on the planet, which earned him a world record £80million move to Real Madrid.

Whilst Ronaldo insists he is happy with life in the Spanish capital, he admits he misses life in Manchester, and has hinted he could return before he hangs up his boots.

"Of course I miss playing for Manchester United,” Ronaldo told the News of the World. "Not just the club but my friends are still there, too. I played there for six years and that's a long time.

“Whenever I have the opportunity, I watch them play. I am still interested in watching Manchester United and, you never know, maybe in the future I could return to play there. It's always possible.

"I will not say I am not happy here at Real Madrid. I am really happy, but, of course, I miss Manchester United, the boss, the players, because I left family there.

"I want to fulfil my contract here but, in the future, only God knows."
